Hello!
Well this weekend has been a massive eye opener. 28 days until both me and Kate jet off.. This is crazy! Wherever the time has gone it has without a doubt, gone somewhere fast.
On Sunday we headed to Norwich to stock up on some toiletries and of course, investigate and trial out some ruck sacks. I already bought one from Amazon but because I'm not an experienced backpacker, I had no idea what to look out for. Going to Millets helped me compare so I ended up with another, which is mega! Padded straps, an extra bag zipped on the front, not too many straps...Listen to me sounding a pro at all this malarkey. Anyway, both me and Kate walked away with a bag which has made everything seem that little more real and exciting.
We also paid a visit to paper chase where we bought a cute journal.. You know, too write lots of lists (I love lists) and notes to help on our journey.
On a funny note.. Look how hilarious we both look (turtle comes to mind!)
